A romantic Melbourne pre-wedding session, drifting across three of the city’s most beautiful settings — the soft greenery of Carlton Gardens, the grand sandstone of Parliament House, and the timeless interiors of the Windsor Hotel. Composed yet unforced, with a sense of calm in every frame.

The Locations

Carlton Gardens — Soft and Open

Carlton Gardens offers a kind of openness that feels both relaxed and refined — long tree-lined paths, manicured lawns, and the elegant geometry of the Hochgurtel Fountain framing every angle. It’s a place to move through gently, and Nadia and Diego did exactly that. Some of our favourite frames came from quiet moments under the trees and softer, candid motion through the gardens.

Parliament House — Grand and Cinematic

Just a short walk away, Parliament House gives Melbourne its most cinematic backdrop — sweeping sandstone steps, towering Corinthian columns, and a sense of scale that lifts every frame. It’s the kind of architecture that asks very little of you and gives back a lot. Nadia’s gown and Diego’s suit caught the late afternoon light beautifully against the stone.

The Windsor Hotel — Heritage and Warmth

The Windsor brings in a contrasting depth — heritage textures, warm tones, gilded detailing, and a sense of old-world romance. Stepping inside felt like stepping into another decade. The hotel’s grand staircase, soft interior light, and quietly elegant rooms gave the session a layered, timeless feel.
